“Fatima provided an extremely comfortable environment for me that transported me from being in the cold hospital to a place of peace. By encouraging me using a gentle, optimistic, and soothing voice whenever I doubted myself, reminding me kindly to unclench my jaws and relax, and using soft touch on pressure points – specifically on my forehead, I remember calming down almost immediately.” – Janan

My name is Fatima Abdallah, and I’m a mother to three girls and one boy, 3 of them born in a hospital setting, one at home. I love reading, hiking, travel and family time. One of my favorite times of day is my 15 minute morning coffee routine – grinding local, fresh-roasted coffee beans and drinking my morning cup in peace.

I have certified as a holistic doula through The Matrona and as a birth & postpartum doula through Doula Trainings International, and am trained as a childbirth educator.

I am passionate about all things birth-related, and most importantly, about helping families learn their childbirth options and choices. I feel that when parents realize that they hold the charge to their birth, they are empowered and in control of their birth experience.

In addition to my doula services, I love spending time coaching families through one-on-one classes about the intricacies of childbirth and the postpartum, including Comfort Techniques for Labor, Successful VBAC Tips, Birth Partner Tips, and Postpartum Preparation.

I have experience working with families during hospital and home births, through medicated and non-medicated births, with first-time births, many VBAC experiences and the amazing birth of twins.

I continue to learn and grow every day, and every birth experience is as special to me as the first one I attended.
